Diwali is just a few weeks away, and the fever has already caught on as the buzz about film releases for the festive season is doing the rounds.

Biggies are racing with the clock to ensure that their movie hits the screens on time. The ones that are leading the race right now are Polladhavan and Vel, with Polladhavan emerging the winner in the first lap by announcing the theatres. Though Vel too is a confirmed release they are yet to announce the theatres.

Group Company, the producers of Polladhavan will release the movie in Chennai while the Salem area has been sold to Pyramid Saimira. Polladhavan will be showcased in seven theatres in and around Chennai. They are: Abhirami, Albert, M.M. Theatre, Kasi, AVM Rajeswari, Rohini and Mayajaal.

The film’s audio has already created enough buzz among youngsters with its foot-tapping numbers. Fans of Dhanush can now rejoice, as their hero’s movie will be out on Diwali. The clamor for tickets had already started!
