Irrespective of the success or otherwise of Rajkumar Santoshi-Ajay Devgan movies, there has always been an air of expectancy about their projects. One cannot just ignore films like LAJJA (2001), THE LEGEND OF BHAGAT SINGH (2002) and KHAKEE (2004). In fact, despite the commercial failure of THE LEGEND OF BHAGAT SINGH, Ajay managed to bag the National Award for his brilliant acting. Coming to their latest venture, HALLA BOL (with Vidya Balan), the film is already a much talked about venture.Previously planned as an October release, HALLA BOL may now manage to hit the screens only in December. The reason (as per trade sources) is that, due to the back-to-back failure of the Ajay Devgan starrers, CASH and RAM GOPAL VARMA KI AAG, the Santoshi directed movie is not being considered a hot commercial prospect by the distributors/exhibitors. The makers are therefore waiting for the right offers for some of the circuits.
