Chiranjeevi's younger daughter Sreeja left her father's house to marry her college mate Sirish Bharadwaj. The marriage took place at the Arya Samaj Mandir in Bowenpally, Hyderabad. The wedding was attended by friends of the couple as well as media persons. But neither the groom's nor the bride's parents were present. Sirish is the son of an advocate Venkata Ramana Murthy. The couple met during their college days at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology. They became friends and then decided to marry. Sreeja's family was against the alliance and tried to dissuade her from the relationship. But she decided otherwise. She called Sirish on Tuesday and conveyed her decision to leave her home on Wednesday to marry him. Sreeja and Sirish have expressed their wishes to get approval from their parents, but Sreeja at the same time said that she and her in-laws would need protection from her family.
