He may be 65 years old but this is one man who is still going strong. Amitabh Bachchan continues to shoot for a number of films and ads, juggling dates. In the midst of this, the superstar even found time to record three songs for Vishal-Shekhar for two different films.
The superstar has recorded two songs for Bhootnath, a film being directed by debutant Vivek Sharma. One of them is a rap number while the other is a soft lyrical number. The Big B plays a ghost in Bhootnath. As for the other song that he has recorded, that is also a rap number composed by Vishal Shekhar. But this one is for Sujoy Ghosh's Alladin. The superstar has one more song to record for Alladin which he is expected to record after he comes back from Goa, where he is currently shooting for Bhootnath. In Alladin, Bachchan plays a jinn. Vishal-Shekhar are composing the music for both films. In fact the composer duo is also working on a non-filmi, hip-hop album with Abhishek Bachchan for producer Rohan Sippy for the last one year. That album too will see some inputs coming in from Bachchan Sr. It seems that the composers are literally carving out an alternative career for the Big B.
