It was only a few months ago that Saritha ended her marriage with her husband, actor Mukesh. Another high-profile marriage is drawing to a close.
In the year 2000, Urvashi and Manoj K Jayan had got married after a brief courtship. The two have a daughter from this marriage.
On the 10th of this month, Urvashi got a court order for mutual separation. Though the sudden announcement had caught everybody in the film industry by surprise, it turns out that the couple had been going through rough patches for a while now.
For more than a year, their problems worsened. This was especially after the fact that Urvashi began to concentrate seriously on her career again. Manoj, it seems, wasn't happy with that decision. That was also the time when his career began to boom too. Right now, Manoj and his parents have the custody of his daughter.
Urvashi now has a stand-up comedy show in Tamil TV channels.
