London, Oct 23 (ANI): A rare first edition Harry Potter book signed by author JK Rowling is set to go under the hammer at Christie's in London on Thursday.
And, the auction organisers are expecting the book, which has been signed by the author as 'Joanne Rowling', to fetch up to 12,000 pounds.
The book is a part of the first 500 copies that were printed.
Also going under the hammer is an uncorrected proof copy of the book expected to fetch as much as 4,000 pounds what with "JA Rowling" printed in error on the title page, reports the BBC.
Other books include two more Harry Potter novels, signed by Rowling with messages to "Ella".
These are expected to be snapped up for at least 700 pounds. (ANI)
