Ever since the 19-year-old daughter of Megastar Chiranjeevi, Shrija got married to the 22-year-old Shirish, everybody is curious to know how the bride's father is going to react. But to everybody's surprise, the young couple disappeared, only to surface in New Delhi.

The submitted a special petition at Delhi High Court, seeking protection from Chiranjeevi in case the latter was planning to retaliate. The couple had traveled to Delhi by road, changing cars frequently to avoid detection. As son as they reached the capital, they submitted the special petition. "They had to do this in order to avoid danger," their attorney claimed.

The court has come to the couple's rescue by asking Chiranjeevi and his family so submit in writing that they wouldn't harm the couple or the groom's family.

Soon Chiranjeevi announced that he is ready to accept her and her husband into his family, but Srija insists that she wants to live with her in-laws in Hyderabad and not with her parents.
