Billa 2007 is a remake of the Rajinikanth-Sripriya starrer with Ajith, Namitha and Nayantara in the lead. Special effects play a prominent role in the movie. With the shooting for Billa 2007 complete, post-production work is polishing up these effects. Stunts in the movie are choreographed by William Ang, who has worked for Jackie Chan movies. Audio of the movie will be released on November 15th. The movie will hit theatres on November 30th instead of Deepavali day. Nearly 250 prints will be released worldwide, with English subtitles in screens abroad. Billa 2007 has worked on the same story as the Rajinikanth starrer but has done some interesting insertions in the form of locations and star cast. Though releasing a little later than expected, Billa 2007 will be the latest sensation rocking Thala's fans!
