“I have come here four-five times. Last time, I shot here with Rajkumar and Jeetendra. I have worked in Bollywood for 10 years,” says Babu.
Bheemu's Bang Bang Kids features Kannada superstar Upendra in the lead as Bheemu.
“I am playing the main role. It is an adventure film. I was told by the director to just act. I have not asked him what the storyline is,” says Upendra.
But the film’s lead actress, Ramya, is sure about the storyline.
“The storyline is that we are out to find a group of kids who have gone missing. The hero and me have to locate the children,” says Ramya.
Once a famous destination for filmmakers especially Bollywood, the Kashmir valley fell off the map when militancy took roots in the 90s.
But off late, television soap makers and Bollywood's lesser known cousins, the Telegu, Malayalam and now Kannada film industries are making a beeline for Kashmir.
