Recognized to deliver evocative movies in Tamil cinema, Thangar Bachan is busy these days talking business for his upcoming movie Onbadhu Roobai Nottu.

Produced and directed by Thangar, the film will be a cinematic adaptation of his novel by the same name.

When it was released as a book, Onbadhu Roobai Nottu was raved by the critics for Thangar’s style of writing and his portrayal of human emotions. Thangar is said to be planning for a worldwide release for the Sathyaraj starrer Onbadhu Roobai Nottu. He has not sold the movie rights as yet and, as it seems, intends to release it in the theatres himself. Besides, he is also reportedly planning to hold the overseas rights of the movie and directly release it in countries other than India, where Tamil movies have a market.

That apart, as was done earlier for his movies, including the recently released Pallikoodam, Thangar’s Onbadhu Roobai Nottu will also be screened in film festivals all over the world.
