The main accusation against Vishal is that he interferes with a director's work. The directors working with Vishal do not accept this, mainly out of fear and out a sense of loyalty to the film. But talk of Vishal's interference is all over Kodambakkam.

It is said Vishal directed many scenes in 'Thimiru.' The hostel scene where his college mates bash him up is one of them. Vishal himself has confirmed this and said he changes certain scenes which would attract his fans.

He is right now acting in 'Sathyam' under Rajasekar's direction. The shooting is going on at full pace in Hyderabad. Now news from the unit has leaked out that stunt master Kanal Kannan has been fired from the film and Vishal is behind this.

After the firing, Vishal has himself composed a fight scene. There's a ban on someone directing stunt scenes if the person is not a member of the Stuntmen's Association. It is not known how true it is that Vishal has composed the fight scene. But he seems to be frequently inviting trouble!
