Washington, Oct 27 (ANI): Pop star Britney Spears' mum Lynne Spears has signed a deal to pen a memoir on her role as a showbiz family matriarch.
The tome, titled Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World, is scheduled for a May 11, 2008, Mother's Day, release.
Curt Harding, a spokesman for the Christian book publisher Thomas Nelson Inc., said that he has not yet seen a copy of the book so he can't say how deeply the tome will explore into Spears' private life.
He also said that he is not sure whether Lynne's viewpoint will encompass the present state of her daughter's career and glamorous lifestyle, reports E! Online.
The pop star and her mum's relationship has been strained since the 'Toxic' singer checked into rehab earlier this year but the pair is said to have reconciled following developments in her bitter custody battle with ex-hubby Kevin Federline. (ANI)
