Kareena Kapoor has been so impressed by Imtiaz Ali's work in Jab We Met that she has recommeded him highly to her boyfriend Saif Ali Khan. The actor in turn has made an offer to Imtiaz to direct a film for his home production, Illuminati Films Pvt Ltd.

One person who is not very happy with this is kareena's ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapur. After all, he feels that he should feature in Imtiaz's next film as well. Though he has been recommending Imtiaz to all his producers, it seems that Kareena has beaten him at the game. Apparently Kareena held a special screening of Jab We Met for Saif, who was bowled over by the film. On the spot, Saif made an offer to Imtiaz to direct him and Kareena for his home production. Imtiaz, meanwhile, is being very cautious. He admits that he has received an offer to direct a film for Illuminati Films but says that he has yet to commit himself. He says that he is talks with Saif and others as well. Currently, the director is taking off for a month's vacation with his wife and daughter. He will only take a decision once he is back from his holiday.
