New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan’s rage seems much to be Ranbir Kapoor’s gain these days. Rumours have it that the upcoming actor who’s set to prove his worth on screen in the November 9 release Saawariya was picked for Rajkumar Hirani’s next after King Khan declined the offer.

The superstar was supposedly ticked off with producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s (who is also producing Hiran’s next) comment on his film Paheli when the issue of his film Eklavya being sent for the Oscars came up.

When Chopra was asked why Eklavya deserved to go for the Oscars, he said, “when Paheli went to Oscars no one complained then, why now?” reports Bollywoodblog.com. And that, obviously, didn’t go down too well with Shah Rukh.

In his latest interview, reports humsurfer.com, Shah Rukh has confirmed that he has not taken up Hirani’s film, which is said to be based on Chetan Bhagat’s best-selling novel Five Point Someone.
