Amrita Rao has done romantic role opposite Mahesh Babu in Telugu film ATHIDHI. This film has done record breaking business in Andhra Pradesh. This film has established her as the number one heroine in Telugu cinema.Her introduction in the film is in a dreamlike surreal manner wherein she imagines herself to be a super woman, something like matrix and beats a lecherous teacher to pulp.
