No, this one is not about the current hot and happening Punjabis - Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor - who have endeared everyone with their act in JAB WE MET. It is about the trio of Amrita Singh, Minisha Lamba and Parmeet Sethi which is coming together for Sanjay Gupta's DUS KAHANIYAAN.The notable part is that each of these three actors boasts of Punjabi roots. They feature in one of the 10 stories in the film which is titled POORANMASHI.
In the story Amrita Singh plays the mother of Minisha Lamba who is about to get married. Though she dotes on her daughter and does anything and everything which would bring a smile on her daughter's face, she ends up committing a mistake which would change their lives forever.
POORANMASHI is set in rural North India.
