Call it being strictly coincidental but one Kashyap has beaten another Kashyap at the box office. It is a different matter though that the former is a fictional character in a film while the latter is a real life celebrity.We are talking about Aditya Kashyap and Anurag Kashyap here. While Aditya Kashyap is the on screen name for Shahid Kapoor in JAB WE MET, Anurag Kashyap doesn't need any introduction. Call it ironical but the fact remains that JAB WE MET has grown from strength to strength while NO SMOKING has been seeing a steep fall ever since it's release.
As things stand today, JAB WE MET is on way to be a sure fire big success (it already is a success, now it's a matter of seeing how far it goes) while NO SMOKING doesn't have much going in it's favor.
