SJ Suryah plays the role of a temple priest who is disabled in one arm and leg.

It is strange but true that this role as a temple priest is quite the opposite of the usual playboy roles that Suryah is fond of.

Suryah has promised himself that he will talk to the media only after he delivers a hit film. His next film is 'Vil' where he plays a disabled priest, one is disabled only physically but not mentally. This priest challenges wrong doings.

Director Prabakar has blessed Suryah with this role where he even has 2 heroines. Originally, Shireen and Sneha Ullal were slated to be the leading ladies, but now it is said Ullal is not in the film and the hunt is on to find a suitable actress.

According to the story, the 2 heroines chase the disabled hero like crazy and one can already imagine what the audience will have to sit through.

Producer Nik Arts Chakravarthy did face financial problems but so enamoured was he with the story that he seems to have borrowed money to start work on the film.
