Suriya seems to be attached to the number 2.
His Deepavali release Vel is his second film with director Hari. The two had earlier come together for the film Aaru.
Vel also brings Suriya and Asin together on screen for the second time after the stupendous success of Ghajini.
The film has Suriya playing a double role. This too is a second time for the actor, who earlier played a dual role in the film Perazhagan. His role in the film won him rave reviews as well as awards.
