Simbu has a strange luck when it comes to heroine sin his films. On one hand, he has cool characters like Yana Gupta and Mandira Bedi. On the other he has a confusing Lekha Washington.
It has become the trend in Tamil cinema to re-make old hits and Lakshmi Movie Makers have also hopped on to this bandwagon. They have bought the re-make rights of the very old Vittalachariar film 'Jagan Mohini' from his son. At a time when there were no graphics, Vittalacharair wrought wonders as he let loose supernatural scenes on screen.
Simbu has 2 heroines in the film. Producer K Muralidharan says Sneha is one of the heroines, but Sneha herself is rather wishy-washy over this.
Sneha is acting day and night as she has 7 film assignments on hand 3 in Telugu and 4 in Tamil namely 'Aruvadai,' 'Pirivom Sandhippom,' 'Inba' and 'Pandi.'
"Because I have no free dates, I could not act in 'Kaalai.' I would like to act in 'Silambattam' but the call sheet..." She trails off.
The producer seems stuck on having Sneha as the heroine, so she may well end up doing silambattam!
