Shiney Ahuja has enjoyed a great 2007 professionally with both LIFE IN A... METRO and BHOOL BHULAIYAA hitting the bull's eye. However, both the films have been multi starrers with other actors managing to hog all the limelight.While LIFE IN A... METRO had an ensemble starcast where Shiney had to share bouquets along with Kay Kay Menon, Shilpa Shetty, Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen, Sharman Joshi and Kangana, BHOOL BHULAIYAA was an out and out Akshay Kumar-Vidya Balan show.
Now Shiney would be hoping that his performance stands out in his first solo release of the year, KHOYA KHOYA CHAND, which releases on 7th December. A Sudhir Mishra directed period film which has Shiney playing the character of a rebellious young writer who finds his space in Bollywood; it allows him to indulge himself in his trademark histrionics due to the platform extended to him.
With Soha Ali Khan as his co-star, Shiney has other actors like Rajat Kapoor, Soniya Jehan and Vinay Pathak for company.
