Mumbai: Danseuse and actress Hema Malini couldn’t have asked for a more picturesque way of felicitating her. And if a picture could tell a thousand words, then Hema loved the portrait that the Kanhai brothers, Govind and Krishna, painted and gifted her. And the painting brought forth many thoughts on her own brush with the canvas.

“I remember when I was expecting my first child, someone had gifted me a painting of little Krishna and I made a sketch of the same, and the painting was quite good, that was exactly how Esha looked when she was born,” says Hema.

And now that the cat is out of the bag, Hema also told us that daughter Esha is also quite the closet painter herself.

"She also paints but she does modern art,” says Hema.

Hemaji is quite confident of what husband Dharmendra's reaction to her paintings will be.

"He will fall in love with me all over again,” says Hema.
