Here is some news on the Karz remake being directed by Satish Kaushik and co-starring Himesh Reshammiya in the lead role. The latest to join the film is none other than Danny Denzongpa.

Danny will be playing the role of Kabeera in the remake of Karz, which is being produced by T-series.The role was earlier played by the legendary Pran. This will be the first film that Danny has signed after a very long time. The actor has done just two films in the last three years, which includes Hattrick, released earlier this year, and the yet to be released Frozen. According to director Satish Kaushik, they had a lot of brain-storming sessions for Pran's character till he came up with the suggestion of casting the veteran in role made famous by Pran. Both Himesh Reshammiya and Bhushan Kumar loved the idea. Since the remake will be based overseas, Danny's character will be much more stylish than the one played by Pran in the original. Kaushik says that this will be the first time that he will be working with Danny. Currently, they are working on the look for Danny's character.
