With permission to meet him getting turned down, and the Yerawada jail authorities refusing to make any exceptions, Sanjay Dutt's Diwali may well be spent without seeing any family members.
The actor obviously wanted to spend his Diwali at home. In fact when the actor was being led away to prison this time round, he had told the gathered mediapersons that he should be able to make it home by Diwali. His sister Priya too had spoken to the media and expressed the wish that Sanju would be able to spend Diwali with them. But that is obviously not to be. Sanju may or may not be able to meet his family. As of yet, his family is still trying to get permission to do so. But according to sources it may not come by. While it is obvious that the actor's sisters and Manyata would like to meet him, if the jail authorities make an exception in his case, there would be a ruckus, which nobody in the government wants at this time. The family is aware of that, but they are still determined to try their best not to make it a dark Diwali for Sanju baba. The Dutt family and Manyata have been trying to get permission to meet the actor for the last few days. So far all their requests have been turned down till yesterday. It is believed that they have permission to meet him today. Meanwhile, it seems that Manyata is managing Sanju's affairs quite well. His production house, Sanjay Dutt Productions Private Limited has started to roll and Manyata is at the helm of affairs. Since the actor is in jail, Manyata and the officials at the production house have decided that the office will be at Bandra. Manyata is ensuring that things fall into place quickly. She is personally supervising the proceedings herself. Two offices have been shortlisted as of now. The final decision on the office will be taken by the actor once his bail plea is heard by the Supreme Court on November 20.
