Dipannita Sharma, who at one point of time was said to be Abhishek Bachchan's girlfriend, is back on the silver screen. She would be seen in a supporting role in Sudhir Mishra directed KHOYA KHOYA CHAND.Dipannita was last seen in KOI AAP SA (2005) where she played a second lead opposite Aftab Shivdasani. The film was a trade disaster. Before KOI AAP SAA, she was seen in films like 99.9 FM, MY BROTHER NIKHIL, ASAMBHAV, JAJANTRAM MAMANTRAM, DIL VIL PYAAR VYAAR and 16 DECEMBER before she became selective in choosing her projects.
A Prakash Jha production, KHOYA KHOYA CHAND boasts of an ensemble cast which comprises of actors like Shiney Ahuja, Soha Ali Khan, Raja Kapoor, Soniya Jehan, Vinay Pathak and Saurabh Shukla. The film has music by Shantanu Moitra and lyrics by Swanand Kirkire. Coming from the house of Holi Cow Pictures, the film is aiming for a 7th December release.
