Sports cinema gets another filip with UTV's football follow-up of Chak De!'s hockey theme.
Goal will see John Abraham, Bipasha Basu and Arshad Warsi giving the sport of soccer a Bollywood twist.
"Goal made me play football for quite some time now, and that makes it special. It's a film that will try to reach out to young people through the game," said John Abraham.
Also, for those who prefer to cut a long story short comes ten short stories packaged into one film. Dus Kahaaniyan has been directed by six film-makers and will star a mix of Bollywood veterans and newcomers. This experimental format is produced by Sanjay Dutt's White Feather Films.
Madhuri fans have something to look forward to, for the actress will be seen shining on the silver screen with her come-back film, Aaja Nachle, scheduled to hit theatres by the end of November.
The first week of December will see Sudhir Mishra's ode to Bollywood of the fifties. Soha Ali Khan and Shiney Ahuja are all set to take audiences on a cinematic journey in Khoya Khoya Chand.
"Its not a sleaze show or a peep show," explains Mishra. "It's about the madness of the movies."
December will also see the directorial debut of the other great Khan. Aamir's Taare Zameen Par promises a sensitive portrayal of the life of a dyslexic child and his teacher.
The year seems all set to end on a good note with Anees Bazmee's comic follow-up to No Entry, called Welcome.
