2007 was going through a rough patch with most of the two dozen odd films falling like nine pins at the box office and a few managing to reach an average / above average mark. Still, a bona fide hit was much awaited which only came once NAMASTE LONDON released. Starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead, this Vipul Shah film broke the jinx for an uneventful 2007 and proved to be a good success worldwide.Now it seems that life would come full circle for Akshay and Katrina as their WELCOME is all set to release on 21st December. As the last release of 2007 with no film expected to come on 28th December, this Anees Bazmee film has success written all over it with its first promo already managing to make a terrific impression.
With the pair beginning and expectedly ending the year on a positive, it is one coincidence that Bollywood would love to repeat itself in months to follow!
