It's hard to believe but it is true. After Cheeni Kum, Tabu's next release will be a film directed by Deepak Tijori. Besides roping in Tabu, the director has also managed to rope in Naseeruddin Shah to work in the movie.

It seems that Tijori was quite apprehensive about approaching Tabu for a role in his film. But when they met at a film preview recently, he is believed to have hesitantly approached her for the film and she agreed to come on board. This time Tijori is planning on making a thriller after his previous Oops and Tom Dick and Harry. Tijori is searching for a third actor for his film, which is yet to be titled. Tijori knows Tabu since the days of her first film Prem, which they did together but he had not kept in touch with the actress. Tabu is believed to have told him that she is open to different kinds of scripts. He is believed to have told her that he would not be able to make a Maqbool or a Namesake for her. He related the story of the film and the actress is believed to have agreed to do the film. As for Naseer, Tijori had also worked with the actor in a film called Najayaz many years ago. Naseer too agreed to do the film after he heard the script. The director is quite happy about the fact that he will be working with good actors. The film is expected to hit the floors in April next year.
