Just walk into the Abhirami theatre, sit in one of the chairs, press the button and viola, your bed is ready. Now you can catch the ultimate movie experience at the first five star theatre in the country.

These seats recline up to 165 degrees and there are 22 such seats, or rather beds to pamper yourself. And if after you’ve rested your limbs, you’re hungry, just press a button, and there is a waiter is ready to serve you.

“In other theatres, you can only see a movie, but here, you will experience the movie,” says Ramanathan, managing director of Abhirami Theatre.

And here is the cherry on the cake: all this luxury comes for a mere Rs 120!

Chennai’s film buffs are more than happy with this movie-watching option. “It’s worth the money,” says some, while some go a step ahead, “It’s the best experience!”

The best part of the whole experience is that if you don’t like the movie, you can just curl up, and go to sleep!
