Dhanush starrer Polladhavan is receiving good reviews among this Deepavali releases.

Though the subject is something which has been tried in many films before, the distinctive manner in which the script is handled brings in loads of acclaim for the move. Performance of Dhanush is well received and director Vetrimaran who had apprenticed with Balu Mahendra appears to be very promising.

Cheeru being known in the industry for his candid and honest compliments whenever he spots talents, has immediately called up hero Dhanush who was away at Tirunelveli shooting for Yaaradi Nee Mohini and congratulated him, the director and the entire crew. This has sparked off a buzz in Kollywood circles that Chiru may be interested in the remake of Polladhavan keeping his son Ram Teja in the mind. Whether he would rope in director Vetrimaran, is something we would have to wait and watch.
