It’s probably stale news now that Shriya is starring alongside the Desperate Housewives hunk Jesse Metcalfe and that Vijay Amritraj is producing the venture.
The movie revolves around Shriya, who plays a call center agent, falling in love with her regular caller Jesse Metcalfe and travels down to the US to meet him.
Now, if you want to know how she managed to pave way for the flick in the midst of her madly busy schedules, we have the news. Shriya’s call sheets for the said-to-be-Ajith’s-next-venture Akbar conveniently seems to have been passed on to Vijay Amritraj. Not to blame her; apart from the initial hullabaloo there is awful silence about Akbar that seems to have made her job easier.
No wonder she preferred international fame as opposed to being just a frog in a well. Or was it out of lack of choice? Either way, it’s a choice she wouldn’t regret.
