The cracks are appearing in this relationship as well. It seems that all is not fine between Salman Khan and his girlfriend Katrina Kaif. According to sources, the fights between the two are increasing. And most of them centre on Katrina's career.

There are many people in the industry who Salman does not want his girlfriend to work with, like John Abraham, Vivek Oberoi, among others. Until recently, Katrina was quite obedient and followed Sallu's diktat. But she finally rebelled and went ahead and signed a film with Shahid Kapur, which has Salman seeing red. The two actors have not been on talking terms since last year's Rockstar shows. Katrina has signed Raj Kumar Santoshi's yet untitled film opposite Shahid depsite knowing there were problems between Salman and Shahid. Sallu feels that Katrina owes her career to him and as her boyfriend and a senior actor; he feels that she should discuss all her projects with him. But it seems that these days Katrina has started making her own decisions without consulting him, which has not gone too well with him. Sometime ago, Katrina was in Sydney shooting for Singh Is King opposite Akshay Kumar and Salman only got to know of it when he called her. He did not even know of her Yash Raj film opposite Ranbir Kapoor till he read about it in the papers. But coming back to Shahid, Salman does not want his girlfriend to go ahead with the film. He is hurt that she would choose to work with his enemy. After the whole matter blew up, Katrina is believed to be having second thoughts and has reportedly back-tracked from her commitment. But officially, she is denying this and saying that they are still waiting for Shahid's dates. Santoshi, however, says that there is no problem with Shahid dates, but does admit that the shoot won't begin for a while.
