AVM’s back and back they are with a bang. They have just recovered from the huge success of their magnum opus Sivaji and have announced their next project and this time it is none other than Surya who will be playing the lead in their movie.
This project is to be directed by acclaimed cinematographer director K.V. Anand.
His earlier venture Kanaa Kandein was well received by critics and audiences alike and in fact was the launching pad for Prithiviraj into Tamil filmdom. This untitled project is to hit the floors by the end of January.
Surya is returning to AVM after almost 3 years after Perazhagan which was a commercial success. This time they have the best technicians in the industry coming together, the likes of whom were last seen only in Sivaji. Story is by famed writer duo Su-ba, editing by Anthony, music by Harris Jeyaraj. AVM known for their precise planning and execution of their projects have done their job to perfection this time as well by going ahead and announcing the release date of this film even before it hits the floors. The producers A.V.M. Saravanan, A.V.M. Balasubramaniam, M.S. Guhan, Aparna Guhan and Aruna Guhan, have announced an October 27th, 2008 Deepavali release. No wonder they are known as the oldest and most professional production house in the country.
