Director S.P. Jananathan is on a hunting spree these days. Not that he’s an acclaimed shooter.

He is up and running with his next movie titled Paeraanmai with Jeyam Ravi in the lead and as reported by us earlier, Jana’s movie will have five lead ladies cast alongside Ravi.

Navya has been approached by Jana to be one of his heroines; however, she seems to be contemplating since Jana requires her call sheets for a stretch of 120 days. She is busy shooting for Sila Nerangalil and Ettappan in Tamil and if sources are to be believed, she will nod her consent for the meaty role in Paeraanmai, courtesy the impressive script. That apart, ‘Thoothukkudi’ Karthika also is roped in. Notwithstanding which, Jana will still have to scout for three more girls.

Produced by Ayngaran Films International, Paeraanmai is slated to kick off during early 2008 and will be shot in the dense tropical forests of Coonur, Chaalakudy, Thekkady and Nuwara Eliya in Sri Lanka.
