If you own a television and a cable/satellite connection, it would have been impossible for you not to have witnessed the promo of WELCOME.An Anees Bazmee film starring Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Nana Patekar, Firoz Khan, Paresh Rawal and Mallika Sherawat in principal role, its promos are all over the channels. With a reoccurrence every 10 minutes, it is WELCOME all around as the laughaton arrives on the big screen this December.
However, slight trouble has ensued due to a closing punch line in the promo where Anil Kapoor comments - "Ye to mere hi maa #$%^ raha hai"! Though the line is said to be stated in good humor and adds on to the comic factor of the film, some section of audience/industry has probably taken offense to it. As a result of this, the line has now been omitted from the promo.
In the hindsight, this shouldn't be an issue as the family film has quite a few rounds of ammunition in store before it fires full steam. A guaranteed fifth blockbuster in a row for Akshay Kumar, this Firoz Nadiadwala film releases all over on 21st December.
