Kanthaswamy is one such movie making it to the headlines, quite often, just days after it’s shooting started.

This Kalaipuli S Dhanu production, starring Vikram, Shriya and Vivek, also has Telugu veteran actor Krishna, father of present heartthrob Mahesh Babu, playing a very important role.

This movie’s shooting has been progressing at an unbelievable pace. Unfortunately, an accident that occurred at the shooting spot brought it to grinding halt. The location was the Chennai Boat Club where cameraman Ekambaram was canning the shots as per director Susi Ganesan’s instructions when a pole erected on the sets unexpectedly fell on the director’s head resulting in a grievous injury.

He was rushed immediately to a private hospital nearby where he was treated for a gash, which needed up to four sutures. Needless to say, that this brought the shooting to a halt. Susi was later discharged and taken home, but sources say that he remained unconscious for a while. Get well soon Susi. Fans just can’t wait to see Kanthaswamy on the silver screen.
