After Deepavali, the end of November will see a band of new releases. Oram Po, Rameshwaram, Onbadhu Roobai Nottu and Kelvikkuri comprise the list. Oram Po will be a comeback of sorts for actor Arya. After Vattaaram (October 2006), Arya has been busy shooting for Bala’s Naan Kadavul. Production of Oram Po also got stalled for a few months owing to financial problems. Oram Po will be a commercial entertainer and Arya has paired with Pooja in the movie. Following the success of Katradhu Tamil, Jeevaa’s upcoming release has raised great expectations. Jeevaa is known for attempting unique themes and for sporting different looks; Rameshwaram too carries Jeevaa’s specialities. Jeevaa portrays the role of a Lankan refugee and Bhavana will be his heroine. Thangar Bachan’s movies are known for the fiery spirit in terms of themes and characterisations. His recent release Pallikoodam created waves; Onbadhu Roobai Nottu will also deal with an offbeat theme. Sathyaraj plays the role of Madhava Padayachi and Archana plays his wife Velamma. Jailani's Kelvikkuri deals with the life of policemen. Produced by Eighteenth Cross pictures, the movie was shot in eighteen days. Jailani is the hero. With all these releases, we will have to wait and see which movies become box-office hits, knocking over the audience with story and cast.
