Alls not well between Salman Khan and his lady love Katrina Kaif. In fact, it is being rumored that the two are heading for a split. Their relationship has already reached a nadir, what with Salman and his possessive ways and Katrina straining to assert her independence.

The buzz in Bollywood is that after almost two years of togetherness, the two have parted ways. The trouble began early this year in January, at Salman's birthday bash at his Panvel farmhouse. The actor had reportedly pushed Katrina aside when she tried to stop him from drinking excessively. The actor's excessively possessive behavior has just worsened matters. It's a similar pattern if one looks at Salman's previous relationships, be it Somy Ali, Sangeeta Bijlani or Aishwariya Rai. Where Katrina is concerned, the actor was not too happy with her on-screen chemistry with Akshay Kumar, visible in Namastey London. Katrina is now doing a second film with Akshay, Singh Is King. They also star in Hum Ko Deewana Kar Gaye. Then recently, Salman expressed his ire at her signing a film with Rajkumar Santoshi opposite Shahid Kapur, who he cannot stand. To top it, the actor is also believed to be quite upset at the promos of Firoz Nadiadwala's Welcome and is believed to have asked him to change it. He did not like the fact that Katrina was shown wearing short skirts in the promo. Nadiadwala is believed to have immediately spoken to Katrina in Australia and she told him to continue with the promos. Katrina is naturally not very happy at his interference in her career, even though it is true that her entry into Bollywood was facilitated by Salman. Earlier, filmmakers approached Katrina because she was Salman's girlfriend but now they do not approach her because of the same reason. The actress does not want to loose out on her budding career and has started taking independent decisions, which is probably not going down too well with Salman.
