December has always been the season for music in Chennai and this year things aren’t going to be any different.

Eminent singers and budding talents from across the state will congregate for a concert organized by RMKV and you can catch all of it on Vijay TV in this year's "RMKV Sangeetha Sangamam 07" to be held at the Image Auditorium, M.R.C Nagar, Santhome, 6:00 p.m. onwards from December 05 – December 08, 2007.

This four-day music fest will feature distinguished musicians, like ‘Padmabhushan’ T.N. Seshagopalan, ‘Kalaimamani’ Nithyashree Mahadevan, ‘Isai Peroli’ Sowmya, Gayathri Girish, Anuradha Krishnamurthi, Sriram Parthasarathy all set to mesmerize the audience with their performances. Along with them, Sikkil Gurucharan with Anil Srinivaasan will perform contemporary classical music. Also, instrumentalists, 'Thavil' ‘Padmashree’ A.K. Palanivel will perform with ‘Kalaimamani’ O.S. Arun; Violinists, Ganesh and Kumaresh will perform with ‘Veenai’ Jeyanthi. In the line of string instruments, Prasanna will perform to some interesting classical music and enthrall everyone with his Guitar.

There is also an interesting line-up of performances by the promising young talents, ‘Mahanadhi’ Shobana and Sainthavi.
