Prakash Raj, who is presently acting in Cosmic Production’s Kanna, directed by Anand is in a soup over issues relating to the story of the movie.
To make matters worse, the issue has cropped up after completion of the movie. This film has Telugu actor Raja playing the lead and Sheela the heroine.
Kanna revolves around a father-daughter relationship, where Prakash Raj plays the father and Sheela his daughter. This is a meaty role for Prakash says director Anand, according to whom his part alone takes up to 40 minutes of the movie. With the entire talkie portion now complete, Prakash is now refusing to dub for the movie and this has forced the director to launch a complaint against Prakash Raj at the Director’s Council.
According to industry sources, Prakash Raj who is presently shooting for his home production Abhiyum Naanum, also a father-daughter subject, where he plays father to Trisha wants director Anand to change the story of Kanna. However, when we approached the director for comments he said that the issue is under negotiation with the respective councils and hence wouldn’t like to comment on it. Film industry is one place where there are no permanent friends or enemies. We hope the outcome will be an amicable one!
