London, Nov 30 (ANI): American actress Billie Piper is all set for a second innings of the saucy series 'Secret Diary of a Call Girl' and has reportedly signed on to reprise her award-winning role as the feisty Rose Tyler.

Adapted from the Belle de Jour book and blog, Secret Diary of a Call Girl could also be shown in the US, which could make 'Doctor Who' actress Piper a star there.

The new series will see Belle's life get more complicated as she meets new characters.

The 25-year old actress admitted that she dreaded stripping for filming the scenes in the first series of the raunchy drama.

"There were times I wanted to run from the room in embarrassment," the Daily Mail quoted her at the time, as saying.

ITV2 has commissioned a new series of the raunchy drama, which was a ratings hit.

"As ITV2's first ever original drama, Secret Diary of a Call Girl has been a huge creative and commercial success for the channel," said ITV2 Controller Zai Bennett.

He added: "The bold concept and slick production has really captured the heart of the ITV2 audience and we look forward to seeing more of Billie Piper as Belle on ITV2 next year." (ANI)
