It seems ironical that the man, who led the fitness revolution among the industry's male actors, today himself has to fight to regain his fitness. Sanjay Dutt, just out of jail, finds himself in the peculiar position of having to regain his fitness so that he can salvage his macho image and compete against the much younger Khan brigade, Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar.
Sanjay returns to the scene with five films in hand – Mr Fraud, Alibaug, Munnabhai Chale America, Estimated Monthly Installment and Kidnap. But the recent events in his life have taken their toll on the once rugged actor, who is touching fifty. Sanjay is the original fitness freak, who started the trend in Bollywood in the Eighties. He has been an inspiration to many actors. In the past, the actor has always worked hard on his body to keep up his image as the macho, action hero. But Sanjay has also been very lucky in having a very loyal fan following, which has always accepted him, great body or not. But with the competition hotting up, Sanju definitely has a battle royal on his hands. But six-pack or not, Sanju is known to be a fighter, and will definitely reclaim his position as the ultimate he-man of Hindi cinema.
