Mumbai: Dumbstruck or confused? That's what Pritish Nandy's paintings leave you with. One has to make up their own minds on what his works of unconventional art mean, because he himself can't really make up his mind on them.

They look like billboards but beyond that, CEO, Pritish Nandy Communications, Pritish Nandy says, "I frankly don’t know how to label my paintings. They are works of art, and some people asked me, are they poems? It is a work of art. Beyond that I have no definition.”

With 'Bored' as the theme, Pritish Nandy, who has held exhibitions of his works before, surely had his visitors playing with words to explain their interpretation of his works.

According to lyricist and writer, Gulzar, "When he calls it boredom, it becomes more interesting for me to see. It does not remain boring anymore. That’s one difference of opinion with Pritish which I have."

Adds his daughter and filmmaker Meghna Gulzar, "if this is the product of boredom, then it's talking about the various emotions one goes through when they are bored."

For Pritish Nandy, the bottomline really is that an enigma is always interesting.
