Produced by Sive under the Amma Creations Banner and directed by Venkat Prabhu, Saroja promises to bring to Tamil cinema a unique portrayal of a beautiful story. Seemingly divergent plots ultimately converge at one point. This is the skeletal description of Venkat Prabhu’s second brainchild. The movie reveolves around a powerful female character; this role will reportedly be played by Gauthami, who has not graced the silver screen for several years now. Also starring in the film are S.P.B. Charan, Sumanth (Telugu actor Koti Ramakrishna's son) along with Vega. Prakash Raj and Jeyaram are also cast in important roles, say rumours. Venkat handles story, screenplay, dialogues and direction, Shakti Saravanan will handle the camera and Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose music for the movie. Tomorrow, Saroja prepares for take off. The movie launch will take place on 5th December 2007 at Hotel Green Park at 9 a.m. Mr. Ramanarayanan, Head of the Producers’ Council and Mr. P.S. Swaminathan of Pyrmid Saimira will preside over the function.
