New Delhi: The famous TV soap Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi that ruled the prime time TRPs has hit an all-time low.

And there?s one question that the entire industry is abuzz with?what could be the reason for its nose-diving ratings?

The answer is- the absence of its most loved bahu--- Smriti Irani, widely known as Tulsi.

And the queen of serials Ekta Kapoor now desperately wants her lucky charm back.

"If Smriti gives me the dates now, I will take her back. But she is already doing two shows and to take third show for her will be difficult. Normally actors give 220 hours but if she gives me only 120 hours its enough for me,? says Creative head Balaji Telefilms, Ekta.

Smiriti owes her stardom in the television industry to Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi but ego clashes between her and Ekta prompted her to say goodbye to a role that she was synonymous with.

"I had not left the serial on my own. But if today they call me back now I would love to go back,? says Smriti.

Going back or not, Smriti has surely taken a few leaps forward in the industry.

From launching her own production house to starring in a brand new soap Mere Apne opposite Vinod Khanna on a new entertainment channel, looks like Smriti has her hands full for the moment.
