Madhuri Dixit was the Queen Bee of Bollywood before she took a brief sabbatical.

Her return to the industry has been the talk of the town for quite sometime now. The lady has managed to create enough curiosity, which is on par with the hype that Amitabh Bachchan’s return generated.

Madhuri is one of the few female stars in the country to have such a loyal fan following, but then, she has always lived up to it. Her Aaja Nachle, with its countrywide promotion, by the star herself, only adds more attraction to it.

Madhuri, living in the US with her family, is still not game to doing films on a regular basis as she doesn’t want to stay away from her kids for too long. In fact, her close friends say that she even turned down a couple of offers from Hollywood studios for this reason. However, it is rumored that she did give a second thought to the idea of taking up the role she was offered by the NBC to star in three episodes of their now deceased political thriller West Wing, which she later declined. Sources close to Madhuri disclosed that her acceptance to act in the Yash Raj production was due to the luxuries offered to her during the shoot like having her kids around and the installation of a small play pen near the shooting spot under producer Yash Chopra’s instructions – things she couldn’t even dream of in production units in the west. She definitely has her priorities in order.
