London, Dec 8 (ANI): James Stewart starrer 'It's a Wonderful Life' has topped a poll of the 'Best Festive Movie of All Time'.
The 1946 pic was produced and directed by Frank Capra and based on the short story, "The Greatest Gift" written by Philip Van Doren Stern.
It was vaulted to the top spot on the list by a fifth of the 7,500 people who were asked to vote in the HMV poll.
Second place on the list went to 'The Snowman', a 26-minute movie adaptation by Dianne Jackson of English author Raymond Briggs 1978 children's book of the same name.
Coming in third on the list was the 1990 comedy 'Home Alone' starring Macaulay Culkin, reports The Mirror.
The top five was rounded off by 'Muppet Christmas Carol', the fourth feature film to star The Muppets, and the 1994 version of 'Miracle on 34th St', which came in at fourth and fifth place respectively.
