Fillmammker Pahlaj Nihalani, who completes 25 years in the industry, has decided to make his latest film with rank newcomers.
Nihlani, who has worked with actors like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor in the past, has chosen to cast fresh faces Avantika and Rishi Rehan in his latest film Khusboo. He justifies his choice by saying that the script demanded it. The mere presence of stars does not ensure a hit, he argues. It is the content that is important. When Kaho Na Pyaar Hai released a few years ago, the lead cast of Amisha and Hrithik were rank newcomers but the film went on to create history. Khushboo has music by singer-composer Adnan Sami.
