This is the crux of Moser Baer’s Raman Thaediya Seethai. Directed by Jagan Nath, the essence of the story is that one must never judge another based on external appearances, but must learn to love him for the person he is. The director vows that the story will be one that any youngster from a middle-class family will be able to relate with. Moser Baer is on a mission to produce only quality cinema; it is ready to shell out any amount, so long as the movie is of high standard, which of course is very much appreciated by Jagan Nath and team. Playing the lead roles in the movie are Cheran, Nitin Sathya, Pasupathy, Vimala Raman, Ramya Nambisen, Thoothukudi Karthika and other debutantes. Each plays a character that is unique and discrete from the others. Jagan Nath, besides direction, has also penned the story, screenplay and script for the movie. Rajesh Yadav, who captured some beautiful sequences on camera for the movies Lee and Mazhai, is the cinematographer; his director is very confident in his skill. Kola Baskar is the editor; Vairabala is the art director. The movie will be shot in the picturesque locations in aand around Nagerkoil. Shooting for the songs is underway and in the second week of December, the story will start taking form on film. Playing a very integral part in the movie is a rented house in Nagerkoil. Music is by Vidyasagar and the lyricists include Yugabharathy, Na Muthukumar, Kabilan and Nellai Jayantha. Evidently, Yugabharathy interacted with and observed over 100 visually-impaired peoplesa as to accurately capture their feelings, experiences and emotions as realistically as possible in his writing.
