Trisha is on a high now that her long pending release Bheema is all set to hit the screens on Pongal ’08. Besides that, she is also looking forward to her upcoming project Abhiyum Naanum which is shaping up well.

She has pinned a lot of hopes on this project and is hopeful about getting a national award for her performance as the character she essays has been so well etched out by director Radha Mohan.

With a bevy of actresses from other languages making a beeline into Tamil cinema with the likes of Asin and Navya Nair mouthing their lines in their own voice, Trisha feels left behind in the race. Trisha being a Tamilian has her voice generally dubbed in all her films by dubbing artiste Savita.

But she is now particular that she dubs for herself in her films as it is necessary for artistes to speak in their own voice in order to qualify for an award in the best actress category. It is a pity that she had to realize this after competition from actress from other languages. Anyway, better late than never, Trisha…
